Raising the GG4C 4-Flag in South America
Our first campaign in South America features a selection of exceptional golf clubs and golf resorts located in (or adjacent to) some of the continent's greatest cities – including Rio de Janeiro, Buenos Aires, Santiago and Montevideo. The campaign was formally launched in October 2019 when Nick Edmund, the Founder of Global Golf4 Cancer, visited Brazil, Argentina, Chile and Uruguay.
The 4th of April 2020 – and beyond
Each of the participating venues has been invited to support the 'Founding Flag-Flyers of South America' campaign by raising a Global Golf4 Cancer awareness flag on their 4th hole – initially for 4 days from the 4th of April 2020, and then going forward, to fly the flag on each of the four special 'Global Golf4 Cancer Awareness Days' (4th April, 4th July, 4th October and 4th February - World Cancer Day).
A Collection of the Finest Golf Clubs in South America
Among the first South American clubs to support the campaign are the Rio Olympic Golf Course, Itanhanga, Gavea and Japeri in Brazil; The Jockey Club, Olivos, Buenos Aires GC and San Andres in Argentina; Los Leones, the Prince of Wales Country Club, the Club de Polo and Rocas de Santo Domingo in Chile, and the Club de Golf del Uruguay (Punta Carretas) in Montevideo.
